Building our US Business Development Function
AI-powered clinical decision and population health support for cardiometabolic disease
Metadvice is an AI-powered clinical intelligence platform for cardiometabolic disease – hypertension, dyslipidaemia, type 2 diabetes, PCOS (PMOS), chronic kidney disease, heart failure and atrial fibrillation. Our technology is capable of handling co-morbidities and often detects conditions long before they get diagnosed.
The platform technology is not LLM driven, our neural networks solutions have strong guard rails embedded for risk reduction and are computationally inexpensive.
Based on in-scale adoption in the UK our primary commercial expansion target is the US market.
Where we are
- Proven clinically. Validated across UK deployments with peer-reviewed evidence of improved treatment adherence, better control rates and meaningful clinician time savings.
- Strong partnerships. Established relationships with leading clinical and research institutions.
- Regulatory compliance. It is CE-marked (MDR Class IIa), MHRA-registered. All suggestions are explained through guidelines references or statistically significant comparisons. ISO 13485 (quality), ISO 14971 (safety), DCB 0129 (safety), GDPR (data privacy), compliance.
Our immediate US plans
We are pursuing an aggregator-led go-to-market: partnering with the physician-enablement organisations – MSOs and ACOs.
- Land the first anchor partners. Prioritising one or two primary-care aggregators, then expanding to other groups nationally.
- Plug into value-based-care economics. Positioning Metadvice within CMS value-based programmes and shared-savings models, where better cardiometabolic control directly improves partner economics.
- Reactivate strategic relationships. Deepening our institutional and innovation partnerships in the US to build clinical credibility and reference sites.
- Update/upgrade regulatory status. Determine with FDA if Class II SaMD regulatory status is required to enable the precision medicine features of the platform for US clinicians. If required, then file a 510(k) submission.
- Stand up US delivery. Moving from validated technology to repeatable commercial deployment with US provider organisations.
Where a business development leader comes in
We are looking for a US-based business development leader to open and develop this market opportunity. We are keeping the engagement open (full-time, fractional or advisory to start) and are flexible on the title. We would welcome candidate’s comments and suggestions. What matters is the ability to:
- Open doors. Relationships with MSOs, ACOs, primary-care groups and value-based-care organisations – and the credibility to reach decision-makers directly.
- Navigate the reimbursement landscape. Familiarity with CMS programmes, value-based care and provider economics.
- Shape the commercial model. Help translate our clinical value into pricing and contracting that works within US reimbursement and shared-savings structures.
- Close and land. Take early conversations through to signed partnerships and successful first deployments.
Who we think could be the best fits
Someone who has sold or partnered into US provider organisations (ideally digital health, population management, clinical decision support, or value-based-care enablement) understands how care is delivered and paid for and is energised by building a market presence in the US using a credible base proven at scale in the UK.
