Delivering value
to healthcare systems
and patients.
The Metadvice platform has a positive impact on the management of chronic long term conditions where management is particularly complex. We take knowledge from approved guidelines and refine it based on patient cohort and digital twin data in order to provide actionable insights and clinical decisions, enabling real world evidence based precision medicine.
Using commonly available biomarkers that are difficult to interpret alone (such as Complete Blood Count), our tools forecast patients at risk for life threatening conditions and further investigations. Rather than simply adding drugs when multiple conditions affect a patient, our comorbidity modules optimize therapies to achieve better outcomes with statistically significant digital twin evidence.
Long Term Chronic Conditions
Metadvice is focused on improving the effectiveness and the efficiency of care for people with long term chronic conditions, such as cardio-metabolic diseases (primary care), auto-immune diseases and cancer (secondary care).
Guideline Medicine
Metadvice is focused on improving the effectiveness and the efficiency of care. In average, the accurate application of commonly accepted guidelines often provides the best option available for pathologies considered independently in a siloed fashion. For example, cardio-metabolic disease coverage according to clinical guidelines. This includes conditions such as hypercholesterolemia, hypertension and type 2 diabetes, where growing numbers of high risk patients are placing a burden on health care systems, and for which better diagnositc and treatment approaches are needed. Cardio-metabolic disease often appear in conjuction with life threatening conditions such as heart failure, chronic kidney disease and atrial fibrillation.
Digital Twin Medicine
Every patient is unique and does not always fit the average guidelines perspective. After learning from millions of real world evidence outcomes, each individual patient is compared with a digital twin to detect undiagnosed conditions (for example heart failure is commonly diagnosed in only ~20% of active cases prior to hospital admission) and assess whether an individualized therapy deviating from guidelines yields better outcomes for a certain group of patients.
Comorbidity Medicine
Chronic diseases often multiply with age and couple in subtle manners. Aiming for a more holistic therapeutic approach than adding more pills to a cocktail that gradually turns toxic, our comorbidity modules aim at improving current conditions without escalating others. Metadvice is an active research partner contributing at the cutting-edge of such research. Recent examples include dual optimization for glucose and weight in type 2 diabetes (ATTD 2025) and therapy de-escalation for patients with chronic kidney disease and diabetes (EASD 2025).
